Mercer Island Boys & Girls Club was built to be your place.

Changing Lives Mercer IslandThe Club is set up to be laid-back and fun. You can grab a snack after school, spend some time in the computer lab, play a little foosball in the games room, get help with homework…or just hang out with friends. We’re all about giving you cool things to do and cool people to do them with.

YogaBliss

This yoga class will stimulate all aspects of the child's development, cultivate body awareness, increase strength/flexibility/coordination, and will teach the children self-calming tools. This class will be a super fun way to encourage development using songs, stories, and physical movement.


Spring Class for Kindergarten - second grade
Wednesdays 2:30-3:30 PM/April 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22
Third - fifth grade
Thursdays 4-5 PM/April 18, 25 May 2, 9, 16, 23

Fall 2012-2013- Project Learn After School Program for 4th & 5th Graders:


Project Learn enhances the skills and knowledge young people learn at school through "high-yield" learning activities. The Club offers a variety of programs designed to increase academic performance including reading, writing activities, homework help, a healthy snack and board games. All of these programs are facilitated by professionally trained club staff. Members are transported to the Club by Mercer Island School District transportation. Fall 2012-2013- Middle School After School Program for 6th-8th Graders:


Do you have a middle school youth? Are you looking for something for them to do after school? Join our Middle School program, meet new friends, do your homework, go on field trips, play games, shoot hoops and have a BLAST! Members are transported to the Club by Mercer Island School District transportation. Please contact them to set that up at 206.232.3338

            3 times a week $100/month
            4 times a week $120/month

No School Day Camps

We offer camps during no school days that involve fun filled excursions around the area.  Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm with an optional early drop off at 7 am and late pick up at 6 pm.  Choose between our 4th/5th Grade Camps or Middle School Camps, they both go on field trips evey day!

    Veteran's Day: Monday, November 12th
    Winter Break:
        Week #1: Thursday, December 20th and Friday, December 21st
        Week #2: Wednesday, December 26th through Friday, December 28th
        Week #3: Monday, December 31st
    Mid-Winter Break: Tuesday, February 19th through Friday, February 22nd
    Scheduled Weather Makeup Day: Monday, March 11th
    Spring Break: Monday, April 1st through Friday, April 5th
    Scheduled Weather Makeup Day: Friday, May 24th

Grades: 4th and 5th or Middle School
Price: $50 per day

DRESS CODE EXPECTATIONS: The following guidelines should aid parents and students in selecting the proper attire for school.
1) Tank top straps must be at least three fingers width
2) No midriff showing
3) Shorts and skirts must be fingertip length
4) Shoes must be worn at all times
5) Clothing that displays tobacco, drugs, alcohol, obscenities, or sexual innuendoes are unacceptable
